Brittany Mahomes will always be Patrick Mahomes' cheer captain.
After all, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, who is pregnant with her and the quarterback's third baby, couldn't help but gush over her husband after the Kansas City Chiefs' victory against the Los Angeles Chargers Sept. 29.
"Another win," Brittany wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside a photo of herself hugging Patrick on the field. "Always proud of you, 15." (The number refers to the NFL player's jersey.)
The support always goes both ways for the couple who share kids Sterling, 3, and Patrick "Bronze," 22 months. In fact, the Kansas City Current co-owner revealed how her husband of two years helped her navigate public scrutiny, which increased significantly since Taylor Swift started dating Patrick's teammate Travis Kelce last year.
"He always told me to stop caring what people think, especially the people that don't even know you," Brittany, 29, said on the Whoop podcast in August. "I think social media used to get to me a lot and now, honestly, I don't give a f--k what people have to say about me anymore."
Tuning out the outside noise helped Brittany, who’s since become friends with the Grammy winner, become more secure in their marriage, too.
"I think he's helped me get to that point to where I'm strong in who I am, I'm confident in who I am, I'm confident in mine and his relationship," she continued. "I'm confident in our life, so why does what other people say have to matter at all?"
As for Patrick? Well, Brittany has given him advice on approaching online hate, too.
"She was an athlete growing up," he told E! News last July. "If you played any sports, you know [there are] as many people that enjoy how you play and the effort that you give [as] people that are always going to hate on you. And so she has a good sense of that."
He noted that her perspective is to “enjoy your life every single day and not worry about what everyone thinks."
"Life's short," the 28-year-old added. "You want to enjoy those moments and remember those moments. And for us, we try to enjoy those moments with our family as much as possible."
In fact, it’s sweet family memories that often kept the football player motivated through the ups and downs of his career.
"To my wife Brittany, my baby girl Sterling and my son Bronze, this crazy life that we are living means nothing without y'all keeping me balanced and making me appreciate every single day," he said during his acceptance speech for the MVP award at the 2023 NFL Honors last February. “No matter how I feel coming home, y'all bring me joy and make me appreciate the time that I get to spend with y'all."
